Top “ROM” scoring credit unions use OpCon
In 1996, the credit union research and consulting firm Callahan & Associates developed a scoring system for measuring a credit unions’ “Return on Member” (ROM).
ROM is a holistic scoring system that looks beyond the traditional metrics used by the NCUA to provide a more accurate and actionable assessment of member value by measuring all aspects of a member’s relationship with a credit union through three categories: Return To The Savers, Return To The Borrowers, and Member Service Usage.CREDITUNIONS.COM
Upon further investigation into how ROM is measured, it’s no surprise to us that most of the >$1B credit unions earning Callahan & Associates’ highest ROM scores automate their environments with OpCon from SMA Solutions.
Since deploying OpCon, hundreds of credit unions around the world have increased productivity, virtually eliminated human error and improved customer service without adding additional staff. In their continuing quest to enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional member service, these credit unions have realized indisputable value from OpCon’s event driven automation far outside of the typical IT environment.
SMA Technologies congratulates Lake Michigan Credit Union, Veridian Credit Union, Citadel Credit Union, University of Iowa Community Credit Union, Logix Federal Credit Union and BCU (Baxter) Credit Union and all our credit union clients who not only strive for excellence in IT performance and efficiency, but who also dedicate themselves to delivering an equal level of excellence from their member’s perspective.
